We are all looking for ways to add some calm to our classrooms.   Well, look no further than this *free* opportunity a friend shared with  me at the beginning of this school year.  The “Calm” app has announced it’s launching The Calm Classroom Initiative.  This initiative strives to “[offer] every teacher in the world free access to Calm and to empower teachers with mindfulness tools and resources they can use to help kids learn this new skill.”

In addition to hundreds of guided mindfulness practices, teachers will have access to Calm Kids, which is a variety of programs tailored for pre-K through high school students, equipping teachers with an ever-expanding supply of content crafted for the unique needs of their students.

Their goal is to provide this opportunity to 100,000 classrooms this year, improving the lives of over 1 million children.

So if you’re looking for ways to add some calm to your classroom, consider signing up for this great offer and please keep in touch about how you are bringing some “Calm” to your classroom!
